Our Mission
Throughout our months of backpacking, we’ve made new friends of all ages, nationalities and backgrounds. Yet, one demographic is strikingly absent: Americans. In our experience, we’ve found that all too often the pressure of finding a prestigious job forced students into positions they disliked, a trend that is prevalent throughout the American workforce. Here at Permanent Holiday, we want to change that trend and introduce backpacking as the once in a lifetime alternative that is already so instilled in European and Australian cultures. So get out and travel the world -- there is so much to see!
